ABOUT KATHRYN
I grew up in
Upperville, Virginia, outside of Washington, DC. I graduated from
Wellesley College with a B.A. in European History and spent my junior
year in Rome, Italy. I speak French and Italian. I also studied
at L'Ecole de Cordon Bleu in London.
From
1991 – 2007, I lived in San Francisco, California where I
first studied Kundalini Yoga and first met my wonderful guru and
began my dharma path. Also during this time I was married to French
Chef Mickael Boussemart, from whom I am now divorced. I now make
my home near the sea on the central coast of Florida.
Over the years
I have intensely studied the Tantric Arts at the Golden Bridge Temple
in Los Angeles and at the Healing Yoga Foundation in San Francisco
and with my lama, the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. I have also
taught Tantra Healing Yoga at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck,
New York. I continue to be a practicing Vajrayana (Tantric) Buddhist.
I
am active with the American Friends of the Louvre, and am a very
active member of the International Committee for the Rebuilding
of the Tuileries, a wing of the Louvre Museum which burned down
in 1871. This will allow the Louvre to greatly expand its exhibition
space. For relaxation, the music of opera continues to feed my soul.
My personal mantra is: Focus ONLY
on the good! Focus ONLY on the joy!
Kathryn
is also a fully ordained minister in the Universal Life Church
